What is MAD-Environnement?

MAD-Environnement (Modeling Analysis of Data in Environment) was created in 2007 by Florent Arrignon and Sebastien Delmotte, PhDs in Sciences, specialized in statistics and modeling applied to environmental sciences.

This company was created because of the will to provide different actors in the Environment field with techniques and numerical tools to analyze data and predict processes, some of these tools not being widely used outside the Research field yet.

MAD-Environnement builds its offers and products on a large part of Research and Development within the company, made in collaboration with public research laboratories.

Services and skills

MAD-Environnement provides state professional organizations, companies and research laboratories with its skills and knowledge in order to:

exploit existing data to summarize and understand information in it, as well as to optimize future data sampling;

develop simulation models to predict the evolution of any system, and evaluate potential impacts of management events in it, as a support for decision process and risk management;

help and advise them in their modeling and data analysis projects, and train them on methodology, techniques and numerical tools.

In the environment field, the scope of the company is wide. As examples, one could mention the management of biodiversity in natural sites, short and long term consequences of human activities on natural systems, species conservation, biological and biogeochemical fluxes (species invasion, contaminants trajectories) in ecosystems, management of limited resources...

Our approach can also be applied to any other field where there is a need of :

- feedback analysis on a process in order to optimize it ;

- simulation tools as decision support.

Philosophy and Commitments

MAD-Environnement aims at working in close collaboration with its customers in order to meet their needs and answer their questions as accurately as possible.

In order to succeed, our team bases its work both on its own experience and know-how in fields such as the environment , modeling, data processing, and on its clients' experience so as to take it into account in the mathematical and processing work.

When necessary, MAD-Environnement may call for external experts, whether from the research or from the industrial fields.

Moreover, MAD-Environment designs its software especially to fit the problematics of the customer, making them usable for non-specialists, thanks to user-friendly interfaces. In any case, MAD-Environnement ensures a personal after-sale service, defined with the customer when drafting and signing of the contract.
